We be slammin’!

International delegates met up this evening at the SWISH Bar in Adelaide to celebrate TYA playwrighting. Led by MC KPK (Kim Peter Kovac), the slam featured playwrights from the US, Zambia, Argentina, Canada, UK, Korea, Australia, and Denmark.

NEXT Greneration International particpants Yeon Choi (Korea) and Jared Matsunaga-Turnbull (Canada) listen on.

Talk about NEXT, Australian playwright Angela Betzien not only read at the slam, but is also represented with 2 plays at the congress HOODS and GIRL WHO CRIED WOLF.

International NEXT participants Fin Kruckemeyer (Australia) and  Jared Matsunaga-Turnbull (Canada) sandwich Roxanne Schroder-Arce, the US NEXT participant.

US intern Xanthia Walker takes a break from her duties with some liquid refreshment.
